Have you ever felt like the city decides our future behind closed doors? For too long, their process has been backwards: they decide first, and only ask for your opinion when it’s too late to matter.
That isn’t leadership. Golden deserves an Architect—a leader who listens first and creates a detailed plan with the community. You deserve to help draw the blueprints, not just to live with what’s been built.
My commitment is simple: 1. Consult with residents and businesses, 2. Co-Design detailed plans that solve the problems we identify together, and 3. Deliver on those plans with accountability.
An architect delivers a plan, not just promises. Here is my work in progress—a living portfolio of blueprints, built on conversations with our community.

The largest project in city history needs a real plan, not a blank check. My blueprint pauses the project, fixes the broken process, and puts the voters back in control of the city’s finances.
A thriving local economy starts with a city that acts as a partner, not a roadblock. My blueprint is built on direct conversations with Golden’s business owners to cut red tape and ensure their success.
Talk is cheap. On 19th Street, we proved a better way is possible. We didn’t just complain; we organized a resident-led workshop, built a professional plan, and formally demanded action from the city. This is how we solve our quality of life challenges.
To deliver a new standard of leadership requires a leader who is uniquely and deeply prepared—with both the education to design the blueprint and the experience to ensure it gets built right. That is why my entire career has been a deliberate journey to become that leader.
I started by mastering the principles of design. I am a dedicated lifelong learner who has earned four advanced degrees: a Law Degree (J.D.), an MBA, a Master’s in Finance, and a Master’s in Management.
But theory isn’t enough. For decades, I have put that education to work in the real world as a state regulator leading the $600 million system that cares for Colorado’s injured workers, and as a longtime board member at On Tap Credit Union, ensuring financial discipline right here in our community. It is this unique combination of proven experience and academic preparation that allows me to build the detailed, viable plans Golden deserves.
This work isn’t just about policy; it’s personal. My wife, Stephanie, and I chose to raise our family here 19 years ago because we love this community. I am running for City Council not just as a candidate with a plan, but as your neighbor, deeply committed to protecting the city we all call home.
